# Sentivel > Sentivel is a reliability platform that brings a branded public status page, built-in uptime monitoring, and third-party provider monitoring together in one product. Free to start. Sentivel monitors your own services, watches the providers you build on, and keeps your customers informed in plain English when something goes wrong. It also pages your team when a real incident opens. ## What Sentivel does - Status pages: fast and branded, on your own domain, with 90-day uptime history, scheduled maintenance windows, per-incident pages, and an Atom feed. - Uptime monitoring: HTTP, keyword, TCP, and heartbeat checks, with multi-region consensus so a single network blip never opens a false incident. - Provider monitoring: continuous watch on a curated catalog of third-party providers (AWS, Stripe, Cloudflare, Vercel, Google Cloud, and more). When something you depend on breaks, your dashboard already knows. - Dependency cascade: map which of your components rely on which providers, and Sentivel auto-posts a clear, provider-attributed advisory on your public page while the upstream issue lasts, then clears it when the issue resolves. - On-call and escalation: on-call rotations, multi-step escalation policies, severity routing, and one-click acknowledge from any device. - Paging: reach the right person by email, SMS, or a phone call. Holiday mode steps people out so an alert never lands on an empty chair. - Integrations: Slack, Discord, and generic webhooks, plus an inbound Slack /incident command. - Public REST API and a hosted MCP server, so an AI agent can manage monitors, incidents, status pages, on-call, escalation, and integrations. ## Positioning - Category: status page, uptime monitoring, and incident communication software. - Sentivel is an alternative to Atlassian Statuspage, Better Stack, Instatus, and StatusGator. It combines the status page, uptime monitoring, third-party provider monitoring, and dependency mapping in one product instead of splitting them across separate tools. - The dependency map drives an auto-authored, provider-attributed advisory on the public page — customers read a plain-English message naming the upstream provider, not just a status flip. ## Pricing Per workspace.
