Sentivel is a status page, uptime monitoring, and dependency tracking in a single product. We're a small team building it carefully.
Why we built it
The reliability stack got split across too many tools: a status page in one place, an uptime checker in another, and a third service watching the providers you depend on. Teams end up juggling several products and still can't give customers a clear answer when something breaks.
We wanted one tool that does all three, and does the part customers actually see really well. When an upstream provider has an incident, your page should say so in plain, branded words, not just flip a component to red. That is the moment a status page earns trust, so it is the moment we care about most.
How we think about it
Honest by default
The page tells your customers the truth, including when the cause is a provider you rely on rather than your own code. We never overclaim, and we never make a promise we can't keep on your behalf.
Execution over noise
We would rather do a focused set of things properly than ship a long list of half-built ones. The wedge is how well it works, not how much it does.
Free where it counts
A beautiful status page and built-in monitoring cost nothing and stay that way. You pay when you go on-call and need rotations, escalation and phone paging.
