Check a providerCommon questions
- My monitor says it's down and the site looks fine to me.
- A check is only opened as an incident after several consecutive failures from a majority of its regions, so a single blip won’t do it. The monitor’s recent checks show the exact failure reason. If a check is being blocked by a WAF rather than failing, that’s recorded as blocked and never counted against your uptime.
- How do I stop alerts during planned work?
- Put the monitor in maintenance, or schedule a maintenance window if you want customers to see it. Checks are skipped either way, so there are no false incidents and no uptime penalty.
- Can I use my own domain for a status page?
- Yes, on every plan. Add the domain in the page’s settings, create the
CNAMEit shows you, and verify. - Something in my workspace looks wrong.
- Send us the workspace name and what you expected to see. There’s also a Send feedback item in the account menu inside the app, which reaches the same place with the page you were on attached.
