What to do

Sentivel is closing

Last updated 4 November 2026

We are shutting Sentivel down on 4 December 2026. Thank you for using it. Here is what happens between now and then, and what you need to do.

Until the closing date

Everything you have keeps working until 4 December 2026: monitors, heartbeats, alerts, on-call, and your status pages, including custom domains.

New accounts, new workspaces, trials and upgrades are closed. No one is being charged, and no one will be.

Export your data

Signed in, go to Account and choose Export your data for a file of everything we hold about you.

For a workspace's monitors, incidents and status pages, create an API token under Developers and read them from the API, or ask an AI tool connected through the MCP to list them. Do either before 4 December 2026.

Before the closing date

  • Set up monitoring and a status page somewhere else, and point any custom status domain (a CNAME to Sentivel) at the new host.
  • Remove Sentivel heartbeat pings from your jobs and scripts. After the closing date the ping URLs stop answering.
  • Remove Sentivel API tokens and the MCP connection from any tool that uses them.

On the closing date

Monitoring stops, status pages go offline, and we delete every account, workspace and the data in them: monitors, check history, incidents, status pages, subscribers, integrations and tokens. Backups held by our providers expire on their normal schedule. This site will then show a short notice that Sentivel has closed.
